The Research Coordinator Intern Program (RCIP) is launching again for the summer of 2021! We are seeking energetic and responsible interns to help us better understand media and its effects on the Muslim community. The goal of the Research Coordinator Intern Program (RCIP) is to gain a better understanding of trends that portray negative images of Islam on social media and help generate resources that counter misinformation narratives on Islam. The RCIP team is now accepting student intern applications for the summer of 2021 to help us carry out the RCIP’s goals under the guidance of scholars, professors, and professionals. As an intern, you have the opportunity to:

  • Sharpen your leadership ability
  • Learn to use project management softwares
  • Exposure to research tools & methodologies
  • Serve the Muslim community

 

RCIP 2021 Program Details:

  1. Cohort of 15 students
  2. Start/End Date: June 1st – July 30th
  3. Time Commitment: 5 hrs/week (40hrs total)
  4. Intern Type: Remote/Asynchronous
  5. Applications are DUE BY MAY 25th, 2021!

Intern Eligibility:

  • Must be 15+
  • Must have strong verbal and communication skills
  • Must have proficient computer skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Must have interest or experience with research projects
  • Must fill out the application form by May 25th, 2021
