Annual Islamic Literacy Conference
Annually, we gather at New York University in partnership with the Islamic Center at NYU and The Sacred Door Project for a conference focused around Islamic literacy. We are joined by guest speakers, religious scholars with unique knowledge and insight, who lead 8 workshops sessions throughout the day that equip students and young professionals with the practical tools to live a divinely-guided life.
Annual Leadership Summit
We hold an annual student leadership summit which unites ABSA students from different universities and walks of life. We are joined by experts who run workshops on different aspects of organizing, teach practical applications for seeking proximity to Allah (swt) in our everyday lives, and build skills to enhance our leadership practice.
Local Events
Throughout the school year, ABSA chapters host events on their own college campuses and engage their local community in social gatherings, professional development, religious education, and community service.
