FAQ’s
How Do I Start An ABSA Chapter?
- Schedule a meeting with our Mission Director, Sheikh Faiyaz. By joining the ABSA Chapter Network, you receive access to ABSA Network resources including event packages, scholarship opportunities, speakers, internship programs, and more!
- Complete the New Chapter Registration Form prior to your scheduled meeting.
- Review the How to Start your own ABSA Chapter toolkit for instructions and guidance.
- Visit the Student involvement/Student Leadership office of your high school/university to officially register an ABSA Chapter on your campus. The student involvement office will inform you about club registration, officer elections policies, and can provide your chapter with funding.
How Do I Renew My ABSA Chapter Membership each year?
ABSA Chapters are required to renew their membership with ABSA Network each school year by filling out this form. ABSA Chapter’s are encouraged to schedule a meeting with ABSA Network’s Mission Director at the start of the school year to gain support, guidance, resources, and more!
Once you’ve filled out this renewal form, you will be sent an Al-Kisa Publications discount code for your ABSA Chapter to purchase books.

How Can I Request ABSA Chapter Funding?
- Fill out the post-event and testimonials forms on behalf of your chapter. The chapters with the most submissions at the end of the semester will be awarded scholarships.
- The Leading with Light Award nominations are open throughout the Fall semester. Nominate your chapter or a chapter or ABSA leaders you know for the opportunity to earn them a Leading with Light scholarship in support of their programming. Awardees are required to attend the Leading with Light Summit.

Fill out the post-event form
This is the form that we ask all ABSA chapter leaders to fill out following any ABSA-related event they organize. By filling out this form, you help us measure our scope and impact, and allow us to celebrate your accomplishments as a community. Please note that you can fill out this event form retroactively if you did not submit a response directly after the wrap of your event.

This form is for members of ABSA to fill out to provide testimonials to be featured on the ABSA Network website, Instagram, and official reports. This will help us share student stories within our networks to inspire, motivate, and strengthen the bonds our community.
