Join a community of motivated, intellectual, and faith-driven people in creating a space for Muslims at your academic institution.
What is an ABSA chapter?
An ABSA Chapter is a group of people whose mission is to cater primarily, though not exclusively, to Shia Muslim students on academic campuses. In alignment with the teachings of the Quran and the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.), ABSA chapters aim to provide resources for developing Shia students’ faith, identity, and success and build a sense of community within an Islamic framework on campus.
Start a new ABSA Chapter
By starting an ABSA Chapter, you’re not only building a vibrant community and creating a space for professional and spiritual growth; you’re also becoming a catalyst for positive change for future students to come.
Have an existing ABSA chapter?
You can access a range of resources and guidance to ensure your chapter runs successfully. Resources include: prayer packages, event planning guides, conflict resolution methods, funding assistance and more!
Our impact
ABSA has chapters in the United States and Canada making it a very large and international network of Shi’a students. We are continuously growing and envision 100+ chapters by the year 2025.
